Danube International School Vienna (DISV)

Danube International School Vienna (DISV) was founded in 1992 and has grown into a well-established IB World School. Situated in a historic building in the 2nd district, the school offers a warm, inclusive, and international learning environment. DISV follows the full IB continuum, providing the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP).

The school's philosophy is rooted in the belief that students should be active participants in their own learning. Small class sizes allow for personalized attention and a tailored educational experience. DISV prides itself on its 'family atmosphere,' where students, teachers, and parents work closely together to support academic and personal growth.

Notable for its central location and strong English as an Additional Language (EAL) program, DISV attracts families who seek a smaller school setting without sacrificing academic rigor. The school makes extensive use of Vienna's cultural resources, integrating museum visits and historical tours into its curriculum.
