Keystone Academy

Keystone Academy is a unique educational institution that opened in 2014, aiming to create a 'New World School' by integrating the best of Chinese, American, and international pedagogical traditions. It is one of the few schools in Beijing to offer a dual-language immersion program in Chinese and English within an IB framework, making it a popular choice for both expatriate and local families seeking a truly bilingual education.

The school's curriculum focuses on three pillars: bilingual education, a residential program, and Chinese culture and identity. Keystone is set on a massive, state-of-the-art campus in Shunyi that mirrors a college campus environment. The residential program is mandatory for students in older grades, fostering a close-knit community and developing independence and social skills.

Keystone has rapidly gained a reputation for academic excellence and its innovative 'Keystone Capstone' projects. The school places a high value on character education, based on five Confucian virtues: Ren (Benevolence), Yi (Justice), Li (Propriety), Zhi (Wisdom), and Xin (Honesty).
