Chengdu International School

Established in 1994, Chengdu International School (CDIS) is the oldest international school in Chengdu. It is part of the Leadership Development International (LDi) network. The school serves the expatriate community by providing a North American-style education rooted in a philosophy of holistic development, aiming to produce students who are globally minded and socially responsible.

CDIS offers an American curriculum from Kindergarten through Grade 12, culminating in the Advanced Placement (AP) program. The school is fully accredited by WASC and is a member of the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS). The school's small class sizes allow for a high degree of interaction between teachers and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.

In addition to its academic programs, CDIS is well-regarded for its sports teams, fine arts programs, and community service initiatives. It moved to a modern campus in the Jinjiang District to better serve its growing student body while maintaining its reputation for a tight-knit, family-like atmosphere.
