The Western International School of Shanghai (WISS) is a leading IB World School located in the Qingpu District. It is the only school in Shanghai authorized to offer all four International Baccalaureate programs: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and the Career-related Programme (CP). This makes WISS a unique choice for families seeking a consistent IB experience from early childhood through graduation.
WISS is known for its diverse and inclusive community, with a strong focus on the arts, sports, and technology. The school maintains several academies within its program, including the Stoke City FC Academy for football and various performing arts initiatives. Its project-based learning approach encourages students to be independent thinkers and global problem solvers.
