BASIS International School Shenzhen

BASIS International School Shenzhen opened in 2015 as the first international school in the BASIS Curriculum network outside of the United States. Located in the Nanshan District, the school quickly gained a reputation for its intensive academic program and high standards. The curriculum is designed to challenge students and prepare them for the rigors of AP courses and university life, with a heavy emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The BASIS philosophy is built on the belief that all students can achieve at high levels when provided with a structured and demanding environment. The school employs subject-expert teachers who are passionate about their fields. In addition to core academics, students participate in a wide variety of electives, fine arts, and physical education, ensuring a well-rounded development.

The school serves students from Pre-K to Grade 12 and has seen its graduates gain acceptance into prestigious universities globally. Its facilities include specialized labs for physics, chemistry, and biology, as well as high-tech classrooms. BASIS Shenzhen is part of a growing network of BASIS schools across China, maintaining high consistency in educational quality and student outcomes.
