Canadian International School of Suzhou (CISS)

The Canadian International School of Suzhou (CISS) was founded in 2003 to provide a high-quality international education to the expatriate community. It is the first school in mainland China to be authorized by the Department of Education of the Province of New Brunswick, Canada. Students graduating from CISS receive the New Brunswick High School Diploma, which is recognized globally.

In addition to the Canadian curriculum, CISS is an authorized IB World School, offering the IB Diploma Programme in the senior years. This dual-pathway approach allows students flexibility in their university applications. The school’s philosophy focuses on providing a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to become life-long learners and globally responsible citizens.

CISS is known for its small class sizes and personalized attention given to each student. The campus is located in the Suzhou Industrial Park and features modern classrooms, specialized science and computer labs, and extensive sports facilities.
