Osaka Kongou International School

Osaka Kongou International School (OKIS) is a historically significant institution located in the Suminoe ward of Osaka. Originally founded in 1946 to serve the Korean community in Japan, it has evolved into a modern international school that welcomes students from all backgrounds. The school is unique for its trilingual focus, where students are encouraged to become proficient in Korean, Japanese, and English.

OKIS offers a full K-12 program and is recognized by both the Japanese Ministry of Education and the South Korean government.
