Yokohama International School (YIS)

Founded in 1924, Yokohama International School (YIS) is one of the oldest international schools in the world and the second oldest in Japan. In 2022, the school moved to a brand-new, purpose-built campus in Kominato-cho, designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma. The school has a long-standing reputation for academic excellence and a strong sense of community, serving over 50 nationalities.
