Overseas Family School

Overseas Family School (OFS) is one of the largest and most well-known international schools in Singapore. Since its inception in 1991, OFS has focused on providing a supportive environment for the children of expatriate families. It is unique in that it does not have a restrictive entrance examination policy, believing that every student can succeed if given the right environment and support. The school moved to a massive, modern campus in Pasir Ris in 2015.

OFS offers the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP, and IB Diploma) and is famous for its 'Study Preparation Programme' (SPP), which helps non-native English speakers rapidly gain proficiency to join mainstream classes. The school also features a unique 'Model United Nations' (MUN) program integrated into the curriculum from a young age, fostering public speaking and global awareness.

Facilities at the Pasir Ris campus are extensive, including an auditorium that seats over 1,500 people, multiple swimming pools, and specialized rooms for chess, dance, and music. OFS maintains a very diverse faculty and student body, with no single dominant nationality, creating a truly international atmosphere. The school's long history and consistent academic results make it a staple of the Singapore international school circuit.
