American Community School of Abu Dhabi
The American Community School of Abu Dhabi (ACS) is one of the oldest and most respected international schools in the UAE, founded in 1972. Originally located in Al Bateen, the school relocated to a brand-new purpose-built campus on Saadiyat Island in January 2024. ACS delivers the American curriculum from KG1 through Grade 12, with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) offered to high school students.\n\nThe new Saadiyat Island campus features world-class facilities including a 650-seat theatre, a dedicated science wing, a medical and wellness centre, an art gallery, two swimming pools, running tracks, a full-sized football field, and five indoor basketball courts. The campus can accommodate up to 1,500 students and was designed to support 21st-century learning.\n\nACS has earned an Outstanding rating from ADEK and serves approximately 1,315 students representing over 80 nationalities. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). ACS has a strong tradition of college placement, with graduates regularly admitted to top universities worldwide.
