The Awty International School

The Awty International School, established in 1956, is a leader in international education. Originally founded as a primary school, it merged with the French School of Houston in 1978 and has since grown into a massive campus serving over 1,700 students. It is uniquely recognized for offering two distinct academic tracks: the International Track leading to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and the French Track leading to the French Baccalauréat.

The school's philosophy centers on linguistic proficiency and global citizenship. It is one of only a few schools in the world to be accredited by both the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the French Ministry of Education. The student body represents over 50 nationalities, and the school offers intensive language programs in French, Spanish, German, and Arabic. Notable for its diverse faculty and state-of-the-art facilities, Awty remains the top choice for expat families in Houston's energy sector.
