The Australian International School (AIS) is one of the leading IB World Schools in Vietnam, established in 2006. While it bears an Australian name, its curriculum is truly international, utilizing the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Cambridge IGCSE, and the IB Diploma Programme. AIS is part of the Inspired Education group, a global network of premium schools.
The school focuses on a balanced approach to education, emphasizing academics, the arts, and sports. It is particularly well-regarded for its sports programs and large, modern campuses. AIS encourages students to be independent, confident, and resilient, preparing them for success in global higher education.
The Thu Thiem campus is the flagship, boasting world-class facilities including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, basketball courts, and professional science labs. The school also offers a robust boarding program, which is relatively rare for international schools in the city, providing a home-away-from-home for students from across Vietnam and the region.
